TYPES OF MATERIAL
MDF
Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) is an engineered wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibers. These fibers are then combined with wax and resin binders and pressed under high temperature to form dense, smooth panels
HDHMR
HDHMR (High-Density High Moisture Resistant) board is an advanced engineered wood product known for its durability, strength, and moisture resistance. It is similar to MDF but with enhanced properties due to its high density and added moisture resistance
Marine Plywood
Marine plywood, often referred to as marine ply, is a high-quality, water-resistant plywood designed specifically for use in humid, wet, or outdoor environments. It is commonly used in boat building, outdoor furniture, and structures that require strong, durable wood that can withstand exposure to moisture and harsh conditions.
BWP
Berge ply, sometimes referred to as BWP (Boiling Water Proof) plywood, is a high-quality, durable plywood known for its resistance to water and moisture. It is commonly used in places where the plywood may be exposed to high humidity or water, such as in kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor furniture. Berge ply is typically made from high-quality hardwood and bonded with a waterproof adhesive to enhance its durability and resistance to the elements.
TYPES OF FINISH
Matte Finish
Matte finish (often simply called "mat" finish) refers to a non-reflective, low-gloss surface commonly used in interior design, furniture, and paint finishes. Unlike glossy finishes, which have a shiny and reflective surface, matte finishes absorb more light, resulting in a smooth, muted appearance that hides imperfections and scratches.
High Gloss Finish
A high gloss finish is a shiny, reflective surface treatment commonly used in furniture, cabinetry, wall finishes, and automotive paint. This finish is designed to reflect a lot of light, creating a sleek, mirror-like effect that enhances the visual appeal of surfaces, making them appear more vibrant and dynamic.
Acrylic finish
An acrylic finish is a durable, glossy finish often used in cabinetry, furniture, and interior design. Made from acrylic—a type of plastic—this finish provides a highly reflective, smooth surface that adds a polished and modern look to surfaces. Acrylic finishes are popular in kitchen cabinetry, wardrobes, and high-end furniture because they offer excellent durability, color depth, and a sleek, contemporary appearance.
Glass Finish
A glass finish is a sleek, glossy surface treatment often used in interior design, particularly in kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, furniture, and wall panels. Achieved by applying tempered glass panels or a glass coating, this finish offers a high shine, depth, and a reflective quality similar to high-gloss finishes. Glass finishes are valued for their aesthetic appeal and durability, making them a popular choice for contemporary and luxury spaces.
PU Finish
PU (Polyurethane) paint finish is a durable, high-quality finish commonly used in cabinetry, furniture, doors, and other surfaces that require a smooth, long-lasting, and aesthetically pleasing finish. PU paint is known for its strength, resistance to chemicals, and ability to create either a high-gloss, semi-gloss, or matte surface. It’s often chosen for high-end projects because of its durability and luxurious appearance.
CNC Finish
A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) design finish refers to the surface texture, pattern, or detailed cut achieved through CNC machining. CNC machines use computer-controlled tools to create intricate designs on a range of materials, including wood, metal, acrylic, MDF, and more. CNC finishes are widely used in interior design, furniture, wall panels, and decorative elements, offering precision, customization, and a modern aesthetic.
